"Skin Again" Social Emotional Lesson

This product contains PDF activities based on Skin Again by bell hooks. The first activity has students illustrate an outline and describe their 'Inside' and 'Outside' traits. The second activity has students identify reasons it is important to get to know someone on the inside. Finally, students will write a letter describing why they would make a great friend.

Recommended for Grades: Kindergarten, 1, 2, 3

The students will have to:
*read Skin Again by bell hooks
*identify and describe traits

*illustrate and describe reasons to really know someone

*write a letter stating an opinion with reasons
